GREENVILLE, N.C. - The City of Greenville's Office of Economic Development has launched a new website in an effort to attract business, industry, and investment.

Growgreenvillenc.com includes a modern, state of the art design that will employ search engine optimization and be more user friendly.

"This website will appeal to site selectors and investors," Greenville Economic Development Manager Roger Johnson said. "When fully operational, it will contain a searchable database promoting buildings and sites and will place Greenville at the top of a Google search, and I cannot emphasize enough this site was built to be more mobile friendly to ensure it is accessible to the professionals on the go."

The new site was modeled after award winning economic development websites from across the country. It includes a plethora of information and tools aimed at attracting four target industries: High Value Office/Headquarters, Artisanal Manufacturing, Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), and Digital Media/Software/Simulation. The site also provides a link to the Office of Economic Development's new virtual building, a 30,000 square foot design that could be expanded up to 90,000 square feet and be ready for a business within 10 months.

Additionally, the site offers details on the city's demographics and quality of life, major employers, grants and incentives, local partners, innovation and entrepreneurship, and more. For more information about the new site or other Office of Economic Development initiatives, call 252.329.4502.
