GREENVILLE, N.C. - The City of Greenville will offer its annual "Free Ride Day" for the Greenville Area Transit (GREAT) Bus System on Saturday, April 8 in conjunction with PirateFest.
Riders will have access to buses on any of the City's routes without cost. The offer is another way for the City to support PirateFest and encourage ridership for the bus system, officials said.
The GREAT Bus System currently runs six routes with an average of 32,000 riders per month. Each route travels approximately 14 miles in an hour.
