The City of Greenville Financial Services Department’s Purchasing Division has won the Carolina Association of Governmental Purchasing’s 2014 Sustained Professional Purchasing Award. Greenville is one of just eleven agencies throughout the Carolinas to receive the award.

This award is given to agencies that demonstrated excellence in purchasing standards during the calendar year.  Award criteria include the use of technology, minority outreach, staff certification, customer training, vendor training, and the use of recycled products. 

Purchasing Manager Angelene Brinkley will accept the award later this month at the CAGP Spring Conference Banquet in Hickory, NC.
