Environmental Awareness Awards Announced

The City of Greenville Environmental Advisory Commission will be presenting the 2007 Environmental Awareness Awards on May 3, 2007 at 5:30 PM in the Public Works Conference Room located at 1500 Beatty Street, Greenville, NC. The following recipients will be recognized:

The Commission commends these recipients for their ongoing efforts to enhance our natural environment and for their continued efforts to make environmentally conscious decisions.

The Environmental Awareness Award was created to recognize individuals or groups who have made a significant impact on our environment by demonstrating personal responsibility and taking the initiative to protect and conserve our natural resources. The City of Greenville's Environmental Advisory Commission accepts nominations every February for the previous year’s efforts.
