The City of Greenville Financial Services Department carries out its fiscal role in accordance with the City's Goals and Objectives as well as the Policy and Procedures set by the City Council. The Department provides services to the public and internal support services to the City. Our services to the public include, but are not limited to:
- Customer Service
- Customer Payment Processing
- Local Business Tax Receipts
- Lien Searches
- Emergency Alarm Registration
The internal support functions include, but are not limited to:
- Issuing Municipal Bonds
- Debt Administration
- Revenue Collections
- Accounts Receivable
- Managing and Investing Public Funds
- Payroll
- Accounts Payable
- General Ledger
- Grants Monitoring
- Preparation of Interim and Annual Financial Reports
