The Small Business Plan Competition has been a popular grant program for the City of Greenville since 2008. It has incentivized 38 small businesses to locate within the City’s redevelopment boundaries during that 10-year span. While the program has seen its fair share of interest, it’s the right time to explore a revision and other options as it relates to small business grants. Our intention is to have a more robust program in place by the year's end. Please refer to linked memo below to the Mayor and City Council that describes the timeline and process. Later in the year, the City will be publicizing the revised program, timeline, and application process.
