GREENVILLE, N.C. — The City of Greenville will be conducting its citizens survey in the coming weeks in an effort to get feedback on City services and programs. The survey is conducted bi-annually and presented to the City Council for consideration during strategic planning.

Once again, this year's survey will be administered by mail and phone. Selected citizens will also have the ability to take the survey online. The survey is the most accurate way for the City to hear from a large number of residents across the city and all demographics about what is important to them and how they want their tax dollars spent. In 2016, 871 people completed the survey with enough data to create scientifically valid results across race, age, income, and geography.

Results from this year's survey will be compared to past surveys to see how well the City government is improving to meet the needs and desires of the residents. They will also be compared to other university cities as well as regional and national survey results.
