Route One

Due to concurrent changes with Route Five, Route One will no longer service much of the Kearny Park Area.  From Beatty Street, Route One Will turn left onto Howell and continue toward the Hopkins Park Area. As Route One arrives downtown, it will service the University area and pick up the service area previously supported by the Route Five Bus. Those who may have lost direct service by Route One in the Kearny Park area can still find service on Howell Street with Route One and Hooker Road with Routes Three and Six.

Route Two

To provide a more streamlined service, Route Two will leave downtown and service the West Greenville neighborhoods via West 4th Street, rather than West 3rd Street. It will then head to the Moyewood Area and the VA Clinic. Additionally, due to increased service interest coming from the North side of West 5th Street, Route Two will turn right after servicing the VA Clinic and head west on West 5th Street. It will then service B’s Barbecue Road and then the Westpointe area, then Stantonsburg Road.  Route Two will also be serving the W. H. Smith area.

Route Two will no longer service the Hospital via Moye Boulevard.  Those heading for medical services at Family Practice will continue to be serviced on Stantonsburg Road, but via Route Six.

Route Three

Route Three will continue to service Dickinson Avenue from Memorial Drive and Reade Circle on its way out of town. However, it will not service that area as it returns, as this segment will be serviced by Route Six. As Route Three returns toward downtown, it will offer new GREAT service to residents living or working on South Memorial Drive between West 5th Street and Dickinson Avenue. It will then service the West 5th Street area on its way to downtown.

Route Four

GREAT will now provide service to all stops of Route Four every hour.  Aquatics Center will now be serviced by request only.  Please inform the driver as you board that you will be heading to the Aquatics Center Area.  To allow hourly service for all of Route Four, GREAT can no longer directly serve the West Meadowbrook Park Area or the Hop Tyson Area. However, Route Four will still service those areas via North Memorial Drive and Airport Road.

Route Five

Great will now be providing service to both sides of East 10th Street. Rather than turning right on Elm Street, it will continue down East 10th Street and turn right onto Greenville Blvd on its way to the mall.  It will then service the university area along East 10th Street, before meeting the other routes at the transfer point.

Route Five will no longer service Elm Street or East 14th Street.  However, it will provide some access to East 14th Street near the intersection of East 14th Street and Greenville Boulevard.  Much of the University area previously serviced by Route Five will now be serviced by Route One.

Route Six

This route will now service the Hospital and Family Practice area on Stantonsburg Road.  It will also service residents living on Spring Forest Road before heading toward Pitt Community College.  As it returns, it will service Hooker Road and Dickinson Avenue areas before arriving Downtown. West 5th Street area will only be serviced by Route Six as it leaves downtown.  Those returning to the area should take Routes 2 or 3.  GREAT riders heading to W. H. Smith area will need to board Route Two.  GREAT will no longer service the Greenville Homeless Shelter directly.  New bus stops have been placed near the intersection of Dickinson Avenue and Watauga Avenue for Routes 3 and 6 to service passengers from that area.
