Enjoy a citizen-led walking tour provided by Roger Kammerer and sponsored by the City of Greenville Historic Preservation Commission. Mr. Kammerer will point out historic sites and describe historic events that took place throughout uptown during this two-hour walk. People interested in taking the tour will assemble under the covered area at the corner of the Five Points parking lot, located at the corner of Evans St. and 5th St., on Sunday May 6 at 3:00 P.M. The FREE tour will run through 5:00 so wear comfortable attire. This walking, citizen-led event is part of the nationally-celebrated event known as "Jane's Walk" to celebrate activist, author and urbanist Jane Jacobs to coincide with her birthday during the first week of May.
