The following holidays will be observed by the City of Greenville and Greenville Utilities Commission during 2025:

New Year's	Wednesday, January 1, 2025
Martin Luther King Jr. Day	Monday, January 20
Good Friday	Friday, April 18
Memorial Day	Monday, May 26
Juneteenth	Thursday, June 19
Independence Day	Friday, July 4
Labor Day	Monday, September 1
Veterans Day	Tuesday, November 11
Thanksgiving	Thursday, November 27 Friday, November 28
Christmas	Wednesday, December 24 Thursday, December 25
New Year's (2026)	Thursday, January 1, 2026

All City offices are closed on these dates, and there is no garbage or recycling collection on holidays.

GREAT buses do not operate on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
