The City of Greenville is getting ready to ring in the New Year with a new means of communicating with its residents. It is making preparations for the production of an e-Newsletter for its residents.

“We are always looking for better ways to get out news about what the City is doing to make the lives of our citizens better,” said Communications Manager / Public Information Officer Steve Hawley. “Often we rely on sending information to the media, but they don’t always have the time or space to talk about what the City is doing. Creating and sending the e-Newsletter will give us a way to get that information directly to our residents via email.”

The first e-Newsletter is expected to be sent out via email in January of 2013. People who wish to receive the newsletter are encouraged to sign up by clicking on the link here.
