The Greenville Recreation & Parks Department offers programs designed for adults of all ages.  Below is a list of some of those programs. For a list of current programs and to register on-line, please click here.

Fall 2017 Senior/Adult Programs Trips

iPhone and iPad classes for seniors/adults will begin October 3 at South Greenville Recreation Center.

 Join us as we explore the  NC State Fair on October 17th & Ocrocoke Island, September 20-22  

Fall Bridge Courses - 9:30-11:30 at the Drew Steele Center

Fall Classes will begin Monday, September 18th for the following classes

Monday - Beginner 

Tuesday - Intermediate

Thursday - Advanced

Greenville/ Pitt Senior Games

Encourages adults 50 and older to develop a healthier lifestyle by becoming more involved in physical fitness and social programs. The Greenville/Pitt County Senior Games offer athletic competition in over 20 different sports, also included are the SilverStriders Walking Program and all categories of the SilverArts component. 

Exercise

The department offers programs such as Exercise in the park in the spring(April & May) and Fall(September & October) at the Town Common on Thursday evenings at 6pm.  We also offer chair aerobics & aerobics.  All classes are modified to meet the needs of all participants, whether you are a beginner or advanced participant.  

Other Activities  

We also offer Bridge Classes (Beginner, Intermediate, & Advanced), Bingo, Card & Board Games; North Carolina Association of Senior Citizens Club Meetings (Southside & Moyewood).
