PUBLIC HEARING

                Notice is hereby given that the Recreation and Parks Commission of the City of Greenville will hold a public hearing on the 10th day of April 2024 at 5:30 PM inside the Drew Steele Center, 1058 S. Elm Street, to consider the following request:

                Application for naming of the three rooms in the C.M. Eppes Alumni Cultural and Heritage Center located inside of Eppes Recreation Center to the following: Room One: James M. Hines Leadership Room, Room Two: Dr. Bernadette G. Watts Conference Room, and Room Three: Mrs. Wilma Imogene Taylor Dupree / Mrs. Jean. Johnson Darden Alumni President’s Room.

                A copy of the application relating to the said request is on file in the office of the City Clerk located in City Hall at 200 W. Fifth Street and is available for public inspection during normal working hours Monday through Friday.

                On the basis of objections, debate and discussion at the hearings, changes may be made from what has been proposed.

                Persons having interest in this matter and desiring to speak either for or against the request are invited to be present and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
