Planning and Zoning Commission meetings are normally held in the City Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall located at 200 West Fifth Street. Due to the City's attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the meetings are being held remotely (by electronic means). In addition, Greenville City Hall (and Council Chambers) is currently closed to the public.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

• A Public Hearing, not to exceed 30 minutes for each side, may be held, if such matter is on the agenda.
• Those that wish to speak at the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting should contact Tony Parker at tparker@greenvillenc.gov or 252-329-4116 no less than one day prior to the scheduled meeting by 5:00 p.m. 
• If you have a question about an agenda item, please contact the Planning Division at 252-329-4498.
• Registered participants will be given an access code and instructions on how to speak at the electronic meeting.  Participants can use the ZOOM link or participate by phone.
• Callers will be held in queue and asked to mute their phones or speakers until they are called on to speak.
• Speakers will be called in the order that they are registered.
• First speaker in favor will have 5 minutes, each additional speaker will have 3 minutes for a total of thirty minutes.
• First speaker in opposition will have 5 minutes, each additional speaker will have 3 minutes for a total of thirty minutes.
• If a person participating remotely willfully disrupts the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, then upon direction by the Chair, the person may be removed from electronic participation, or his or her e-mail may not be read. 
• The public may also email their comments to PublicInput@greenvillenc.gov.  Comments should include name, address and the subject of those comments (example:  ABC Rezoning) up to and during the meeting.  Written comments can also be mailed to the below address. Please allow time for your comments to be received prior to the meeting.

• If time remains during those designated periods, the comments received will be read by the Clerk into record after all registered speakers have addressed the Commission.
• Comments read by the Clerk are subject to the time limits set by the Public Hearing procedures.
