Learn to Save a Life: CPR and AED Training

The Neighborhood & Business Services Department along with the Compress & Shock Foundation will be holding a hands-only bystander CPR/AED class on Saturday, June 1, 2024 between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Eppes Recreation Center, 400 Nash Street, Greenville, NC 27858.

This is a free event for those 13 years old or above and registration is not required. Quick bystander intervention in cases of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) can mean the difference between life and death. This two-hour non-certification course will teach you how to save a life. The current survivability rate is 10%, yet survival rates could triple if more people knew what to do when SCA strikes. When you complete the class, you will know what to do.

Please share this information with others and for more information, please reach out to Tony Parker at 252-329-4658 or email him at tparker@greenvillenc.gov.
